old son. Do you have any good ideas for things to do this weekend. It's supposed to be nice sunny weather. I just find it difficult to think of things that will be fun for him and I together. We go to the park alot, but what are some other things to do?
do you think as feel you are respected enough to have your opinion heard?
I have been debating this for awhile. Violence is increasing in the schools my children attend. Several schools in the area I live in, including the school my oldest attends; have received threats(bomb) and others over the past 2 weeks. These threats have always been around; but there has been a sharp increase in them this year. I am just curious of your thoughts about homeschooling. I especially would appreciate answers from those who have or are homeschooling at the moment. Thank You:)
Vote on what you think about this prayer....The one that my parents and many others taught their children to recite before sleep. "If I should die before I wake I pray the lord my soul to take...."For me, I learned to recite, "Dear Lord, now as I lay myself down to sleep I pray my soul for you to keep...." I was only twelve. I am asking for your response because I think it may be important to understand the impact simple actions and rituals can have on the malleable youth.
as they get older? It seems like everyday we turn the news on another child has killed someone. There seems to be so much violence in kids of today. Why do you think this is?
We don't live near one, but there have been numerous discussions/articles about health and cell phone towers. Just curious on your thoughts.
