I FELL IN LOVE WITH WHO I THOUGHT TO BE A GREAT GUY. COME TO FIND OUT AFTER 6 YEARS OF BS, IT WAS NEVER ABOUT ME. HE JUST WANTED TO BE IN THE STATES. AFTER WE GOT MARRIED, EVERYTHING WAS RUSH RUSH TO SIGN HERE AND THERE, TO HAVE A BABY(WHICH I FLAT OUT REFUSED). SO HE LEFT ME AND SHACKED WITH ANOTHER WOMAN, AND NOW THEY HAVE A BABY.I FEEL HE SHOULD BE REPORTED AND SENT BACK HOME. YES, I AM HURT. BUT THERE IS TOO MUCH DECEPTION. WHAT WOULD BE MY 1ST STEP?

As governments report their financials now, does the reader get a full view of its "business"? If not, is the problem one of reporting or disclosure? How can general purpose financial statements be made more useful to the reader. Any advice on presenting component units in governmental financials? Are questions of materiality involved?

does the current financial reporting model for municipalities accurately portray the full business of government? What is the problem with GASB 14 as it stands now? Should the definition of a reporting entity be changed? Another question - should a rainy day fund be a line item in the general fund, a column of its own or be placed only in the footnotes to the financials?
