I no longer have my Money software. My son switched computers on me and although we thought it was saved, Money won't let me access it without the original registration number.

HP places system recovery files on a D partition of the C drive on their computers. This partition is about 8 GB. I created system disks and I plan to upgrade to Vista anyway so the partition will be useless to me. HP provides no way to delete the partition though I can delete the files in it. What is the best way to eliminate the partition altogether?

Electricity was cut off while my PC was on. when I turned on my PC again (the partition was still there) and tried to open a FAT32 partition I got this message "The disk in drive X is not formatted, Do you want to format it now?" that hard drive was one partition and I want to recover it without using another hard drive to recover my files on it, I want to restore my partition again!
