Personally, I think Hard Disks and RAM will be obsolete (replaced by Solid-State Memory), CDs/DVDs will be replaced with Net Installs, and UIs will become more minimalist and (hopefully) more customizable. I also think online "build-your-own" computer services (such as Dell) will become more widespread, and Oct-Core processors and graphics cards will appear, fuelled by games such as Doom 4 and Quake 5, and possibly Halo 4 and WoW 2. Also, Microsoft will become less dominant thanks to things like Apple (style) and Linux (flexibility). It would be interesting to see what everyone thinks and if you agree or disagree with me.
