i am asking this question because i basically belong to asia and here the major scenario is that after marriage in most of the country girls are compulsorily moved to their husband's places ........so i wanted to know what is the culture in other parts of the world.......

When my 1st husband passed away they demanded our childrens SS checks and told our children (thier grandchildren) that since thier dad is dead they mean nothing to them and never want to hear from them or see them ever again. They also told our children they could not have anything from thier dads home, not even thier clothes that where there.

I've noticed that certain people often marry ...say a doctor and sooner or later are thinking they are one too. They have no credentials, no schooling or particular studies and are totally unqualified, wanting to dispense medical advise, etc. You can't receive credentials by proxy! Sure.....You may feel you earned that by helping put them through school etc. but you are unqualified!
