my boss asked me to keep track of my co-workers time while he was out. several people took long lunches, came in late, left early, sat around, etc. I don't want to jeopardize my relationship with my co-workers, yet this is very unfair to other members of the team.
I am not happy at all with the position! It's very different than what I expected and it is not challenging enough. So I'm quitting, but I feel like I've put my coworker, who recommended me for the position, in a bad place, since she put her professional reputation on the line for me by recommending me for the job and now I'm leaving after a few weeks. What can I say to my boss to make my coworker not sound so bad?
