Debbie

Do the companies grow through internal growth or is it largely through acquistions and mergers?

? Bright Side ?:

This will depend a lot on where the company operates and what business the company is in. Companies is a high growth less mature market can grow its business organically as the pie is still large enough for all players. However, in a market where growth has plateaued or where the market is saturated with many players as in the telecom sector in many developed countries, then M&A is often the only way to grow your business.

Jeweldane:

yes-at times more companies are growing thru merger & acquisitions & at other time it is growth from increased sales & efficencies. the state of the economy bears on this.
