How bad will this recession be?2&virtualBrandChannel=0

Aaahhhhhhhhhhh, what a cute pussy

Hopefully it will get bad enough to stop sending our tax dollars overseas to help those that hate us. The only reason many countries have anything to do with us is MONEY. We could even be in the black by the end of the year.

i agree !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning, RedneckRev. Thank you for your answer.

only as bad as we allow it to be, don't forget, it is our fault for voting in the people who create this shiznit, let's have a total recall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your answer, royboy.

I don't know, but look like we are just about at rock bottom, with so many people being laid off, and the lost of homes. I guess if we start having a problem getting food, we are at the bottom..........

Thank you for your answer, Billyjean. Maybe seed companies would be a good investment when we start growing our own food again.

For us I do not think it will be too bad because we are looking to the Lord to care for us and he will.

Thank you for your answer, Pat.

It sort of makes me wonder; where was the Lord in 1929? The economy hit a bottom in 1932, and then recovered very slowly until we entered WWII. Did the Lord give us the war so that we could become prosperous again?

Experts say that it will probably last somewhere around 16 months. They also think it will be worse than the previous recession.

Thank you Eric. I listen to CNBC and Bloomberg on a regular basis. They have lots of 'experts' predicting the length and severity of the recession. I have heard estimates from 2nd quarter 2009 up to more than 3 years.

They say that it started in December of last year.

They based that call on the slowing of the economy. However, it does not fir the technical definition of a recession which is 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth in the GDP. Still, for all practical purposes, it has been a recession.

With new taxation, fees and other levies to pay for new entitlements and programs, bad. It's like putting frosting on a cow pie. The taxpayers still have to eat it.

Thank you for your answer. I have not heard of any new taxes, fees, or other levies. Also no word on any new entitlements. Could you tell me where I could find information on these. Thank you.

KB Lan Jr:

We are not even at the start of the recession yet. Eventually, the economy will re-adjust to a new much lower equilibrium. Low and middle class will suffer the most. These two classes will have to accept much less as previous generations did. I forecast some very tough times ahead. Unemployment in my estimate will run to 14%-15% before start showing any improving signs. Law makers will have to make a lot of changes especially, start redirecting money fro defense to civil economy. If we continue with this arrogance and political mentality we will diminish in international importance because we will be broke and others will be stronger because they are wiser.
