Nnjoyy

What brand/style of clothing did you wear in high school that no longer exists?

Nnjoyy:

For me, it was Girbaud jeans. I blew $70 a week on those suckers.

Kim:

Hippie clothes....no "brand name" required-ha!

Chris:

jeans and t-shirt forever. do not remember brand but do remember they had the copper rivets on the jeans that would scratch the paint on a car while sitting on the hood at the local drive -in while drinking a beer.
i think the brand of jeans was levi

?mom?:

I kind of miss those bell bottoms :)

K:

Hypercolor shirts, Guess jeans, Co-Ed Naked shirts, body suit shirts, man I could go on...were all fads when I was in school.

Nnjoyy:

Early 90's??? Late 80's?

K:

Yep!

?mom?:

bell bottom pants.... but it seems that sooner or later all things recycle... I dont remember the brands though

Chris:

ah yes, bell bellbottom jeans, remember them well. never be able to wear them again because of weight gain but since the style is back, someone who shops at goodwill may like them as soon as i donate them

Nonny:

British Knights shoes and Bo Knows shirts

Gemz Star!:

When I went to high school very few people wore athletic shoes. We had US Keds and PF Flyers but the "in crowd" wore Jack Purcell's (low top). In my sophomore year you could buy shoes from a German company called Adidas if you ran track but you didn't buy them from a store. A company rep measured you and you got them by mail. They were very pricey at $22!

Nouki:

It all still exists, but who would wear it..lol...I still remember wearing and wrecking my ankles in "concert boots' calf high zip up leather boots with about a 3 inch platform and 4 inch heal. Had to by pants with legs like 38 inch cause the fashion was to have the boots but still have the back of the jean leg drag on the ground to get all frayed.

?Jesus ?_?:

That question is so funny I can't stop laughing. It was a thousand years ago when I was in high school. :)
Can you imagine togas? Heh heh..

?Jesus ?_?:

I wore Grunge before it was in style.

MamaV:

Dittos. This was a brand name of hip huggers, (now called low rise) pants, and tee shirts that were actually made for girls to show off the girly parts. Converse shoes for boys, because they didn't make them for girls yet. Hot pants, (now called short shorts, or daisy dukes) It was ok back then cuz I did actually have the body for it. lol Levis, those never go out of style.

MamaV:

Oh yes and platform shoes too, no wonder my ankles are ruined. lol
